The 16750 was a short-lived transitional reference produced for only eight years, bridging the vintage 1675 and the sapphire-crystal 16700/16710 era. It kept the acrylic crystal and matte dial of its predecessor but added the quickset date and a higher-beat Cal. 3075. Late 16750s introduced glossy 'Spider' dials whose lacquer developed characteristic crazing—a defect that today commands a premium. Because the 16750 is often overlooked between its more famous siblings, honest examples still trade below their true collector value, making it one of the best value plays in vintage Rolex.
