The 1675 is the defining vintage GMT reference and spans nearly every collectible variant in the model's history: gilt gloss dials (to ~1967), matte dials (1967–1980), pointed crown guards (early, 'PCG') and rounded ('OCG'), Pepsi and all-black bezels, and rare 'nipple dial' 18k gold variants. Chapter-ring gilt dials with underline printing are the earliest and most sought after, followed by the 'long E' matte variants. Original Bakelite is exceedingly rare; almost every 1675 wears its second or third bezel insert. Case originality—sharp bevels, undrilled lug holes still crisp, correct correct crown guards for the serial—drives valuations far more than dial cosmetics alone.
